Peter C. Burkert
Mr. Burkert limits his law practice to accident and personal injury cases.  He is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Workers' Compensation and handles a significant amount of these cases.

Mr. Burkert is recognized statewide for his role in workers' compensation. He is a past Chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Florida Bar and served on a Legislative Oversight Board in 1990-91.

Mr. Burkert is also Certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a County and Circuit Court Mediator.   He is available as a mediator in all such matters either pre-suit or in litigated cases.

Mr. Burkert has been designated as a Leading American Attorney. To be selected, attorneys must receive multiple recommendations from their peers in a statewide survey conducted by the American Research Corporation. Fewer than eight percent of Florida's attorneys have earned this designation.

Mr. Burkert is "AV" rated (the highest rating possible) by Martindale-Hubbell, a leading national company in the rating of lawyers.

He lectures on many occasions to lawyers throughout the state and to community groups on the subject of workers' compensation. He was the 1998-99 president of the Florida Workers' Advocates, a statewide organization of lawyers representing injured workers.
